Kai’s “controversial” poem. This topic I can definitely relate to as someone who was told in high school that I “act white” because I got straight A’s, and in college, “I thought you were stupid until you spoke” because I’m black. (Had to compress it all crazy to get it to upload to Tumblr. It had to be removed from “other outlets” due to verbal content. But what happens on Tumblr, stays on Tumblr.) … ;-)

I dont tell people about my problems, I tell them to the God I serve. The God that sees fit to wake me each morning letting me know that my life has purpose. The God that breathes breathe into my body. The God WHO has saved my life and the lives of those I love many times. The God who performs Miracles everyday in ny life because I sak him for it and believe him for it. The God who is there with me always when others have left my side. The God who carries me when I feel to weak to even walk. The God who whispers to me “Go On, dont quit” when I want to give up. See I know the power of prayer, I see it everyday in my life. Do you?
